My name is Niklāvs Parolis, a 24-year-old enthusiast deeply involved in powerboat racing since 2011. Powerboat racing is my heart’s passion and dedication. I am prepared to set new goals, demonstrating my ability to achieve even greater heights. My journey in powerboat racing began in the youth class JT-250. In 2016, I competed in both the youth JT-250 and the adult GT-30 classes, securing the position of Latvia’s vice-champion. Transitioning to the adult Formula 4 class in 2017, I continued to pursue my dreams of victory, building on my accomplishments.
To adequately prepare for upcoming races and reach my goals, I seek both financial and material support. Your company stands to gain widespread advertising exposure in Latvia and internationally. Additionally, we can discuss featuring the powerboat at your company’s events or in promotional material. I eagerly await your response and the possibility of collaboration. Your support is crucial for me to turn my dreams into reality. Together, success is within our grasp!
My goal for the year 2025 is to break into the TOP 5 in both the European Championship and the World Championship. I am one step closer to this objective with the acquisition of a lighter boat hull, but this is just one step of the journey.
To achieve the set goals, your support is essential.

Powerboat racing is a high-speed water sport where pilots compete in circuit races using specially built powerboats for use with outboard or inboard engines, it all depends on the type of the class you are racing in.
I started when I was 10 years old in 2011. since officials wouldn’t let me race in 2010 because my birthday is in september and durning the season my full age was 9.
Safety is of utmost importance in powerboat racing. Pilots must wear safety gear and follow strict rules and regulations.
There are various types of powerboat races, including circuit racing, offshore racing, and drag racing. All of these types also include multiple classes under their category.
To become a powerboat pilot, you need to undergo training, obtain a license, and gain experience in racing. If you are considering to begin your powerboat racing career my best suggestion would be to find local or closest pilot to your location and message them!
You can attend a powerboat race by checking the racing calendar and purchasing tickets for the event but mostly they are free at least in Latvian Championship.
In Formula 4 class we use 4 stroke 60hp mercury engines and the top speed varies between 105 till 115 km/h.
